Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
Whether it’s stains in the carpet, soiled furniture, or pet odors that never seem to go away … there comes a time when your carpet needs a professional clean.
But when that time comes—who can you trust to do a thorough job, without soaking your carpet or leaving a mess?
Give Carpet Spa a call. As professionals, we take carpet cleaning seriously, using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. And, as a local, family-owned business, we care deeply about our work and strive for customer satisfaction on every job.
How will you clean my carpet?
To give your carpet the best possible clean, we use the “hot water extraction” method. It’s the only method recommended by carpet manufacturers. In fact, Stainmaster requires you to have your carpet cleaned this way at least every 18 months to keep the warranty.
This is why: hot water extraction gives you the deepest clean. It removes dirt, allergens, and other contaminants from your carpet, right down to the backing. Other methods don’t even come close.
How does hot water extraction work … and what can it do for my carpet?
This is how it works:
A truck-mounted machine with an attachment pumps hot steam into the carpet, then sucks it back up through vacuum pressure. No residue is left behind, and all the dirty water gets taken away in the truck’s waste tank.
At Carpet Spa, we go a step further and use a rotary attachment to clean your carpet. It’s better than the wands you might see on YouTube videos, because these rotary attachments actually spin and agitate the carpet. That loosens up the dirt and makes it easier to steam clean.
It also dries faster … so you’ll be walking on your fresh-cleaned carpet again in no time.
In the end, what this method gives you is a deep clean and a carpet that looks and feels restored. Some customers have told us they’d forgotten the color of their carpet before getting it cleaned!
I’ve heard it can make the air quality better in my house. Is that true?
Good news—that is true. Steam cleaning can, and does, improve the air quality of your home. But how?
Contaminants like soil, pollen, dust mites, fungus, and cigarette smoke tend to get trapped by your carpet and stay there. That’s a good thing—it keeps them from blowing around your house—but if it goes too long without cleaning, the air quality can get bad.
Hot water extraction removes those contaminants. In fact, some customers tell us they wake up feeling less “sinus-y” after a cleaning. Sometimes it’s worth getting your carpet cleaned simply for more breathable air!
Is it pet-safe?
We’re pet owners ourselves, so we can assure you our steam cleaning method is completely pet-safe—and kid-safe, for that matter. The detergent we use to clean homes isn’t strong and won’t harm your family.
Do you clean upholstery, too?
Carpet cleaning is far more common, but we do have an adapter tool designed specifically for cleaning upholstery. It dries even faster and doesn’t saturate the fabric.
Why should I choose Carpet Spa?
Carpet cleaning may seem like a straightforward process, but you need to have trained, experienced technicians in order for it to work well. We’ve been certified in carpet cleaning through IICRC—a certification recommended by Shaw Industries—and we have over 15 years of experience in the business.
In fact, we were voted best in the Tri-County area in 2014 and 2015.
So we’re highly professional, but we’re also family-owned and family-run. That means the owner is on every job. We do the work ourselves, without relying on under-qualified technicians.
How can I contact you? Will you give an estimate?
When you’re ready to have your carpet cleaned, call us at 814-371-6708. We’ll give you an estimated price and then schedule a time that’s best for you.
Keep in mind that we charge based on the area cleaned, not on the number of rooms. This is more cost-effective for you, so you know you’re getting what you paid for.
We also have a wide service area, especially for larger jobs … so even if you’re a bit far from the Falls Creek area, give us a call. We hope to hear from you soon!
